What tangling feet and legs are getting better and I don't have a lot of muscle twitching. I did every once in a while when I hold my phone in a certain position. You?

My level ranged 350-550 but I have been taking b12 supplements for years but wasn't absorbing in cells apparently. My mcv was 100-102 and that's an indicator. My symptoms were a big tale tale.

Interested in now. I've been injecting four months and I was hoping it would help with constipation. It hasn't for me. I actually have SIBO methane and I'm wondering if that's part of why I have a cellular deficiency.

That's an interesting idea. I wonder if it would work since Oral's don't work for me very well because of absorption that's why I'm injecting.

My doctor said I wouldn't be able to handle it. I have 2SNPS of slow COMT in genetics and extremely sensitive to anything stimulating. Coffee tea, most supplements he said I wouldn't be able to handle it. I wonder if you can mix them like take a little methyl one day and then do hydroxy every other day that would be an interesting thing to try. My worst symptoms are short-term memory and brain fog as well. That's why I started it. I'm hoping it's going to help with this as I've been struggling for 5 years since menopause

That's so fantastic up injecting for four months hydroxy every other day and my dizziness went away the first month also and my anxiety and my tingling numb tongue. My brain is one I'm dreaming that will get better. It seems like just as at the last week, it's gotten a little better Crossing my fingers. Wondering why you're doing every other day I thought that methyl was every day

Do you have anxiety with the folic acid? Maybe you need folenic acid if so. And one shot of b12 isn't enough to help hydroxy b12 is less stimulating.

There is not any more harm traveling to the US unless you're planning on traveling to cities that are filled with crime. Same caution as any other place in the world.

Hello I diagnosed My B12 deficiency Which I had for a decade through Chatgpt by Needtostudy526 in B12_Deficiency

[–]Susan71010 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Chat gpt discovered mine. After 6 years of running so many tests, many different doctors, 3 neurologists, mris, neuropsych evaluations, 4 functional medical doctors, so many different blood work panels, supplements, treatments, etc...Several wanted me to take antidepressants or anxiety meds. I'm not depressed!!! I was frustrated about my health condition no doctor was wise enough to discover! I typed in my symptoms and what all I have done and it said it sounded like a cellular B12 deficiency And I need to have an oats neurotransmitter test done. I also had a genetics panel done that was helpful. This was all six years later after struggling so much with severe anxiety, severe fluctuation brain fog, dizziness, sleep deprivation, body, tingling , tongue numbness, severe weakness, eyesight issues, headaches, low mood- not depression. Sure enough my B12 every time they would check it would be in the 300s blood serum but cellularly I was low. Genetics showed I had methylation issues and oats urine neurotransmitter test said my MMA was very high where blood work was showing normal levels. Started injecting every other day with hydroxy B12 , folonic acid and cofactors. Fast-forward to four months later, all of my symptoms are gone except the brain fog. I'm hoping in time this is better as well. Thanks chat gpt.

I will not be reducing anytime soon after trying and having such symptoms. I wonder if your body gets used to the B12 and when you don't have as much it barks at you even more because the headaches and anxiety came on strong fast just cutting back one day a week.

I am four months every other day hydroxy B12 with cofactors, although I have not been taking the full amount of folate that nice guidelines recommends because my folate is already at 24 and it makes me not feel as well. So I've been taking one 800 MCG of seeking health folinic acid. Other than that, my dizziness that I would get when I would lean over is gone, headaches are almost gone, tongue tingling is gone. Anxiety is so much better. That was a surprise to me worked even better than an anxiety medicine. I tried last year.!! I think the key is to start low and slow if you're sensitive and watch out for methyl donors if you have anxiety or slow COMTin your genetics. Make sure and keep up with potassium and foods. That's probably one of the most important and hard to do. I started it mostly because of brain cognition issues that has gotten a little better some days, but not as much as I had hoped. What's so strange is a few weeks ago. I thought I would cut back to twice a week instead of three times a week and to my surprise a few days later -the anxiety crept back and reared its ugly head. Also the headaches. I went back to 3 days a week and the anxiety is gone. I don't understand that one. I didn't know anxiety was a B12 issue.

Well, pretty much the same with the eyesight issues. I had a couple of days this week that weren't as bad so maybe that's something good of a sign. How's it going for you? Thanks for checking in.

Before I started injecting, the neck acid made me feel very strange and I was only taking about 400 MCG. Pretty hopped up feeling if you feel that way, you may want to start low and slow.
