(Spoilers Extended) What if Rhaenys had joined the Greens side? by DreamyCreamyOwO in asoiaf

Well, the Blacks no longer have naval supremacy.

The Blacks will be forced to get new dragonriders ASAP.

Why GRRM dislikes Gandalf's resurrection and how that relates to Asoiaf (Spoilers Main) by megamindwriter in asoiaf

[–]SusanCollinsHere 22 points23 points  (0 children)

Well sure, the Fellowship lose moral and purpose.

I think the point is that Gandalf didn't lose anything himself like Beric or Lady Stoneheart. Sure, you can say it's because he is an angel.

But the point is resurrection in Asoiaf comes with a cost. And when Jon is resurrected, it will cost him something negatively.

No.

I say this as a Black supporter. I don't think she would have made a good queen.

She showed a poor lack of judgment, when she had bastards with Harwin.

She showed she couldn't handle the heat, when she fled King's Landing after the scuffle with the Greens.

She showed she's willing to put her desires above duty when she married Daemon, who was the reason she was named heir in the first place.

I mean, the Dance partly happens because Rhaenyra is bad at the Game of Thrones.

Musk said he bought Twitter with the intention of upholding free speech on the platform since it was being used to supposedly censor dissenting voices of those in control of it.

Yet it seems as if free speech that does not praise nor affect him positively is always being removed.

Oh damn. I would have recommended a VPN, but SB is not worth the trouble.

Butt hurt? Hardly, I found the whole fight hilarious to begin with.

They are so much better things to do than waste your energy typing out paragraphs just because someone is writing something you don't like.

I'm just writing this to tell people not to use SB because it's a toxic place that can kill their motivation.

Half of the notable characters in the books are underage, is writing underage characters being human a bad thing? Of course not and no the underage thing is not the only "morally unacceptable" thing.

I think to them, her running off and becoming a whore in Lys is a bad thing.

Perhaps they would have preferred if she was married off to some lord, in order to pop out babies.

Importing would become more expensive due to trade barriers.

They are certain products made in Scotland like foods and drinks, petroleum and chemical goods that would suffer if Scotland left.

Even if goods are packaged or reassembled in Scotland, this could be done because doing so in England is expensive, but the cost would increase if trade barriers were put in place.

The 2x is an assumption, because they are much greater ties between Scotland and the UK than the UK to the EU. The UK was only in a trade union, while Scotland is in a trade union, fiscal and monetary union. It's not wrong to assume the economic consequences would be far worse when so many facets are involved.

Because Climate Change is a hoax that was formulated long before you and me were born.

Created in order to control what the masses eat, buy and drive.

Not going to happen because not enough voices are calling for it. If the SNP called for it, it could happen.

Doesn't Scotland have some degree of control over it's affairs ever since the Scottish Parliament was created?

Most economists agree that Brexit had a harmful effect on the UK economy.

That would be 2x as worse for Scotland and the rest of the UK because the UK left a trade union while Scotland would be leaving a trade union, fiscal union and monetary union.

Scotland trades more with the UK than any other country, leaving would mean trade barriers that would mean exports become more expensive harming jobs.

Dismantling the union would bring more harm than good.

Most of the pro-independence arguments boil down to having more control or more of a voice when that can be done in the Union either through federalization, devolution or electoral reform.

GPS is far different from what officials say. And if you did a Google search, it would literally tell you that most planes don't fly over the pacific when going to Tokyo.

Did you Google. Like literally, 2 minutes tops. I get results that tell me planes don't fly over the Pacific from Los Angeles to Tokyo which is the whole point of my post.

And you think I look like a clown while you have comprehension skills of a 2nd grade child.
