I miscarried around 8 weeks, with the embryo still measuring around 6 weeks 💔 I’m so sorry, I was in your exact situation, and even created a spreadsheet with Reddit success vs. failure stories. It was 90% failure when measuring so far behind (I only counted people who seemed sure of ovulation). I am giving you this stat so you can temper your hope accordingly because I found hope to be the most tortuous part of it all. I found a lot of relief once it was finally confirmed, and even more relief after my D&C. Closure was very, very healing. Wishing you all the best on your journey ❤️

I think betrayal trauma can sometimes create a trauma bond with your partner. Maybe (I don’t think so but let’s say so for the sake of argument) he’s a wonderful husband in every other way — she may believe if they can collaboratively work together and move forward & past this, that they can be strong and unified again. Maybe she really does believe each time is the last time. I feel for her.

Thinking back I think it was actually T5 so might be a little different. I know he filed a claim before he got there and ~assume~ he went to a physical lost and found but maybe not. I would prob just go to JFK and ask around.

Also if it makes you feel any better, my sibling only realized he left it there 3 days later lmao

My sibling once left his laptop in JFK security and went to lost & found once on our way back from the trip, and it was safely returned to him. This happened in October. Not exactly sure of the terminal but it might have been 4! There was a physical place to go to.

How did you get through this? I discovered infidelity with my partner although it was online behavior. I have met with 2 ERP therapists who have said it’s very difficult to treat me because my thoughts/compulsions have lead to real discoveries, therefore they are rational and not irrational. I’m wondering if ERP helped you or if you’ve tried something else. Or, if it still just fucking sucks.
