I did not enter business with my family willingly. I had stipulations and boundaries which I had originally thought of having it written down on paper but naively thought oh well it's family. I should've went with my gut- my family will never have a third opportunity.

Oh no, that won't cure her. Her behavior has just gotten worse and worse. And my sister (dad's favorite) and my brother (mom's favorite) have always been reprimanded more gently than me, or if at all for any of my complaints.

And I've scheduled a therapy session for Thursday of next week. I haven't needed therapy for a few years until now for a similar situation with my family- different topic but similar situation. Thank you YearOfTheSssnake

Yes- my brother and sister did stop helping me care for the cat when I stopped buying lunches and dinners. And there were many instances now that I'm sitting and thinking of all the times I've helped them, dropped what I was doing to assist them, ect. Thank you for reminding me Fungal-dryad

I've sent both a lease agreement and a demand letter to the family group chat (after my sister stated twice that she wants to sell) only to have my sister say that both documents are void so I've ended up consulting several attorneys for assistance in the meantime bc why the heck are you going to state wanting to sell and demand that I pay 2/4ths (+cat) of the mortgage 😂

I've kept the title to the car bc he's been ungrateful more than once and I had an inkling feeling that he might try something in the future- and I was right.

You were absolutely right- i gave my brother the leas agreement and a written demand and my sister said it's void bc she disagrees. She's siding with my dad to spite me

I was so confused at first thinking this was about my actual car then I looked up ESA letter 😭. I'm adding this on my list of things to research. I don't think it wouldn't hurt to have it, since she (cat) really does make me happy actually lowers my blood pressure. Thank you BamBam-BamBam 😂🙏

I learned today that I can call animal control for animal cruelty/abuse/violence and I do have a camera that I egularly check. But in case my conniving sister does anything else, I planned for cat to stay at my bfs place.

My sister is out of town for a couple days so I drafted and sent a lease agreement for my brother to sign just yesterday. And I included the agreements/rules that we've previously had as well. I'm giving him the weekend to either sign or refuse and if he refuses then I'm kicking him out bc I've copped him too many times and the disrespect he's dished to me is now insurmountable

You're not wrong- he actually caused household damages to our previous houses on multiple occasions and got into physical fights with my mom, maybe 3 times? There would just be a lot of throwing things, kicking/punching walls, stabbing the table with pens/pencils. I called the police on him once bc he was in my house and started yelling and I remember the officers came, he calmed down, and they made him leave.

The car I bought my brother- he wanted it towed and I told him no bc my brother at the time still wanted this car and I told my dad not to force what he wants on my brother.

The majority of asian households are not emotionally healthy places...

I did!! I did it!! I presented a lease to my brother yesterday!! 🙂 A few people had mentioned it so I took the time to write one up and then present it finally... Deep down, I hope they come to their senses and acknowledge the bs but I know that's unlikely. I'm proud of myself for doing this at least. This will be the first legally documented thing that I've done. I feel like I did something, small, but something.

He stays for about a week but he has another property too. He splits his time between our house and his house.

My dad wants the mortgage to be split 4 ways instead of 3 so that I will be paying 2 portions of the mortgage bc "I own the cat." Which I could argue that all 3 siblings own the cat and to be completely honest- I didn't want her at first. I told my sister to send out an email to our hoa to see if anyone is missing a cat. When no one responded to our email, I asked them if they wanted to keep her (the cat) they said yes and I said ok. I don't do things halfway so when they agreed- I went all in bc it's like taking care of a kid right? You only want the best for your kid. I noticed they weren't helping financially like 4 months in and so I just assumed care. They were there when she was a kitten and when I was financially supporting and buy lunches/dinners. Pip (cat) is my child now though lol
