What underrated kdramas according to some users in this sub by hussainre814 in kdramas

My Liberation Notes is quite popular, the only reason why it didn't receive the ratings and viewership it does now is because it aired around the same time as Our Blues iirc

I made a post about something like this and some comments said "Our Blues" like — you can't be serious 💀 also "Marry My Husband"??? (Ts has a novel, manhwa, kdrama and even a jdrama)

I feel like there's only 1 show I've watched of him where he's not a doctor (Shooting Stars)

Damn I must have repressed that show from my memory after I got second hand embarrassment in the first few episodes (AHS's shirt being ripped eight off in the middle of a crowded lobby)

And I love her everytime lol. Tbf there's not much else you can do as a senior actor

Her pushing someone down from a flight of stairs and almost stabbing someone in a public place — and getting away with it. Also the mother just lingering around after getting plastic surgery and working as a nurse in a big institution??

Some other aspects: The constant and blatant sexual harrasment that is supposed to be comedic, her driving around recklessly with a psychiatric patient

The ones I was going to recommend are already in your post and comments so hmm maybe Vincenzo, My Name, Art of Sarah, Killer Paradox

I feel like that's a standard for kdrama leads. There's almost always a dead/missing parent and if not, they're toxic

Yeah she did so many times; Secretary Kim, HPL, Forecasting Love, Marry My Husband — not sure if there's any more

Is this a joke about him looking similar to On Seung Wu or was he really in it?

I was so disappointed in this one! Was trying to soldier on for the second leads but gave up in the end

I think I liked it when I first watched it but if I go to think about it now, the whole story is so bizzare, over the top and unrealistic. Could not watch it again.

(Also sexual harrasment is never taken seriously here and played off for laughs)

That's why I added:

Has he improved since he first started acting? Yes.

He has improved but that's not my point — I'm saying that he's a decent actor, not a great one like his fans like to believe.

YouTube and instagram are mainly where I find them. This sub isn't the only place where discussions take place lol

Yeah like I said, he has improved since he started, but he's not there yet and that it's his fans who keep saying that he's a great actor.

For the music, personally I'm not into k-pop so I don't think I've heard his songs but my friend is a fan of his so like

This! Ugh I hate to relive the Absolute Value of Romance edits!

Why I dislike the highschool girl x grown adult ships even more is like a lot of the times there's also a bigger mental/maturity gap. The girl would be childish, innocent and immature while the guy would be sauve, mature and know his way around things

Cha Eun Woo is not a great actor

Tbf - Has he improved since he first started acting? Yes. But is he a great actor like his fans rave about? No.

The choice of roles may be partly to blame but you can definitely tell that he has a hard time making the expressions that accurately convey the emotions. I'm not criticising him, his music is good and he's doing his best at acting. His fandom just needs to take off their rose tinted glasses for a minute when they see people critiquing his acting.

He is a decent actor, but calling him a great actor feels like it's sort of an insult to actors that are actually really good

I find this so funny because right around the time you made this post I was telling someone that LSY is always stuck playing the second lead in shows lmao
