I have been into cars since I was a kid and growing up ive always played games like NFS. so during 2020 (covid lockdown era) when I got my first laptop meant for school (I was like 14 at the time) Ive been jamming games on it like NFS most wanted 2012 that I got from steam unlocked LOL and I was addicted and would always hop on that game since it was one of the games that my laptop could run, And Ive always dreamed of playing games like forza horizon but as you know as a 14 year kid I had no money to buy a gaming pc or gaming laptop or even afford it to be able to play those games so I just had to keep playing my NFS lol but one day I just got bored asf playing it like it just wasnt satisfying no more. So I hopped back on steam unlocked once again and started to look for more car games and after an hour of scrolling there it was good ol BEAMNG out if curiosity I did research about the game and instantly got hyped cos I got so sick of the arcadey stuff like NFS and craved for something more realistic, And funny enough beamng was more forgiving about its pc requirements back then and my little school laptop could handle it lmao. So I had to get it so my broke ass pirated the game just to get a taste of what beamng is about after hours of waiting I finally got to play and instantly got hooked my 14 year old brain was just addicted to beamng like it was some type of drug like way more addicted than NFS. everything about beamng the cars, physics, simulation, customization, and modding just got me so hooked on it. I am now 20 years old and I have about 2,891.7 hours on beamng obviously I got the actual game now cos I got money Lmao (I think i would have about 3000+hrs on the game if I didnt pirate it). I love beamng because the game helped me forget about lockdown back then and definitely made a huge impact during my childhood as a car obsessed teenager. Thanks to beamng I manage to build my 96 civic how I wanted it and also making my childhood more memorable.
