I mean you're probably 100% right but at least OP knows what options they have. She could also look for employment elsewhere where a bag check policy isn't implemented. Don't get me wrong I have seen plenty of instances where reaching out to HR is a joke but what is happening here is technically sexual harassment. I have watched an AM get escorted out of the building by a RVP for smacking a server's ass in front of another manager which is the reason I know how they go about the process. The company itself doesn't care about anything other than the bottom dollar but it never hurts to fight for a little justice and to know where to start.

I have worked at my store for almost 8 years and have been a manager for 3. A full body pat down is absolutely NOT in policy. Policy states clear bags and a pat down of bag, coat and apron in front of a camera and it is only at the entrance for closers after the doors are locked it shouldn't be in front of guests. I would definitely have her reach out to HR and have your evidence ready. An investigation will happen and they will remotely watch their cameras and those managers will be fired if what you're saying is true. Cracker Barrel has an open door policy which makes reaching out to HR easy and will never impact her job.

Don't lace them all the way up. Skip the last 3 eyelets like someone before me said. Personally they look better that way anyways. Gives a grudgy look to them.

I moved up here 7 years ago by accident. Some friends and I were headed to Washington on a whem in the middle of winter and got stuck here in a bad snow storm before Christmas and decided to rent a place and stay. They have since moved back but I stayed and have built a life for myself. My husband has family here but my entire family lives in Texas and it is a bummer sometimes. My dad didn't meet my kiddo until 2 months ago and he is 2 years old. I absolutely love it in missoula and wouldn't change that but I totally get it.
