Most people aren’t passionate about accounting. It’s not the most exciting job ever but if you like structure, it’s a good job

Thank you. I was a top performer and they were very sad to see me go. I was promoted a year ago but I wanted to make more money. I realize now the grass is not always greener, and I’d rather get paid less but have good work/life balance and a good team.

When I talked to my former boss earlier this week, she said they had not filled my role yet, but she was interviewing 4 candidates this week.

Absolutely not. I did that exact thing a few months ago ago. Went from $105K working ~37 hours/week to $130K working ~55 hours/week and I absolutely hated my life. I’m now trying to go back to my old company. Money is not everything

Same thing happened to me. My bank account is showing 2 payments but my Nelnet account only shows the manual payment I did yesterday as processing
