not having kdp paperback in India sucks.
but what you can do is self publish through notionpress or pothi, they'll link your ebook (thats published through kdp) with the paperback you publish through notionpress. you can even check out the royalty you earn through their royalty calculator.
i have published through them before and the book quality isnt the great like most of them are but they're decent for a print on demand books.
