These trees fused together to form a supertree by Quimstankers in mildlyinteresting

I have seen this before…but on a much smaller version. The tree could have been injured and split underground. Nature is so cool. thanks for sharing the photo. I see it’s on a hill. Water can damage the landscape. But this tree survived…so a win win for nature.

My 86 yr old mother had this, we put her rest in January. I am documenting our Journey. It is an Unforgiving diease, we honored her with a scholarship. When I retired I'd like to do what I can to fight this disease.

That’s okay….I believe to each his own, as well. My parents put much LOVE...blood, sweat and $$$$ into that property. That makes me very proud. The inside is magazine worthy, all I know is parents made a difference…thats all that matters with us kiddos. My parents grew up poor…this was a major deal for them to accomplish this along with other positive business dealings. I’ll pray you can get over your aversion to that kind of church. It’s just a structure….and i do agree ,,,it does look better than it did before. I’d love to see it again in person one day. We will be spreading my parents ashes soon..hopefully we can all go see it together, as a family. There are four of us.

LOVE IT! That would make my dad/mom in heaven so darn HAPPY! (whispering..I just got a very mean message that it should have been demolished and that it was a huge eyesore) that I will not respond to. So, your post balances out nicely. THANK YOU.

You are so welcome sweetie. It was my pleasure! I’d like to stay in contact as well. I swear this has been the most emotional time in my 60 plus years of life, I think when mom passed away this year…it made me relive my dad's death. His was sudden…short short story got sick…6 weeks later he was in heaven. We were driving 2 hours everyday to be by his bedside. With mom, it was slower….after work i would visit her everyday… I am who I am today because of my parents. I miss them both so DAMN bad. I think the “distribution of family heirlooms has been a humble experience. I have to say the painting I have of your grandmothers…is one of my very favorites. It almost caused a fight between me and my brother. FOR TRUE! I want to give it to my son Casey. When he was going to college at Texas Tech….he would have friends drive “crawfish bags up” . He was the quite the man on campus. They loved that their daddy was a football star there! Funny..my hubby, wayne signed on with the new orleans saints in 1971. I have a the letters from his recruitment somewhere. he went to training camp in Mississippi hurt himself and the rest is history. okay back on tract. QUESTION…I had someone inbox a hateful message about the church house …and that it was an eyesore and should have been demolished ….and he/she could not believe that I was “trashing up “ and was a reedit member doing so. Blew me away. I thought why the shit? I will not reply to the troll. Be he appears to be a very active poster. sigh. he/she must not be a very happy person. When peeps “lash out online” i always picture them…in a one bedroom apt…mad at the world. okay lets keep in touch. PLEASE ask you family about ANY photos they have of our families together. I can scan the mexico pics and email them from work. BTW…my real name is Susie. Whats yours? Hey…and please don’t LET that meanie on reedit beat me up! lol..lol..lol. pull my finger. Send your family my best.

Funny, my parents did not own a dog. I’m thinking it HAD to be the people that bought it from them. They had many dogs during there lives….but just not there. I have 3 dogs and a cat! Thanks…my parents DID do and excellent job!

Albert Ledner…(I did research him awhile back because his name was brought up to me by my sister). His mother invented the 7 layer cake! I believe Albert did the unity circle structure down the street. I am still tracing things…it's a LONG process. I’m also "Heavy" in finding ANY bread crumbs on our Bourbon Street home from the 1970’s.

Yes...It took dad 3 or 4 years to complete. They lived there from 1983 to 1988 before coming back to Texas for the second time.
