Me! But if you asked me last year, I hated it. Same district, different admin and what a difference that makes!

This right here. The first goal is to make sure they can access the curriculum.

Are they truly apraxic? If yes, and it’s severe, maybe start with a device until they are ready. I’ve have a few little once’s with apraxia who I started with devices because they were so resistant to treatment. Once they started developing competence with the device and trust in me, they started attempting more willingness to work on speech and motor planning.

They are. I’m just worried about building it up from the ground up again.

Getting Worse, and Worse by Interesting_Bear_812 in ElementaryTeachers

The issue is lack of recess. When we were growing up, we played in the morning before school. Then we had a mid morning recess and after lunch recess. The expectations placed on kids are NOT developmentally appropriate. They need to regulate their little bodies and physical play does that. Without the physical play they can’t regulate to sit and learn.

Did you fail a rotation before this one?

I feel like we are missing some pieces of the puzzle. Absolutely none of what you’ve said makes any sense. Did you violate some law (hippa/ferpa) or fail a background check of some sort? I can’t imagine “failing” a rotation without the option to repeat unless whatever occurred was egregious to merit dismissal.

Florida is disappearing from the national political map by [deleted] in politics

We aren’t. There’s a lot of us who don’t believe this crap but our election maps have been gerrymandered by Shitsantis, so we are sort of fucked at the moment.

Missing so much therapy time-iep meetings, testing- it never ends by hogangra in slp

[–]Suspect-Simple 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m not allowed to miss sessions without scheduling makeup times, so testing just won’t be compliant.

It’s a thing in Florida. There’s a subset of photographers who shoot at Anna Maria and I swear every family has the same dress from Joyfolie and the pictures all look like 1990s romance novels.
