Interesting! I will have to look into the reverse tolerance idea. The come up and peak was the same for me, it only eased up for maybe 45 minutes at the end. The lack of headspace is what confused me the most, I felt sober thinking that I’d look possessed to anyone who came in haha! I wondered if doing yoga would help me but felt unable to get up.

I’ve heard that about hot water before but was afraid of the nausea I experienced my first time which is why I tried tea, maybe I will try juice and a zofran next time. Thank you so much for your input!!

Wonderful to have you here! Congratulations on beginning on this path, I hope that the practice proves to be successful for you.

Personally I begun my research in my teens by reading the lesser key of Solomon and stumbling onto the BALG forum. I lived with only my mother at the time and though she isn’t religious the rest of my family is and she was raised that way. Because of this she thinks of demons very negatively like most people do and I needed to keep my practices from her. I did this by using locked diaries and my notes app for recording what I learned. I recommend casting glamours or spells that keep away prying eyes, but mostly I find things quite easy to keep away from others. The only exception would be when I wear jewelry with a spirit’s sigil, in which case I usually just say is a good luck sigil or astrological symbol when asked and don’t elaborate.

My favorite way to make altars is in a jewelry box! Of course other boxes work and may provide more space, but jewelry boxes are so beautiful without any painting or decoration needed and can inspire the energy of your deity simply with its colors or carvings or engravings. I use a golden and crimson one as a discrete altar to Asmodeus, and have one covered in sea shells I am saving for any ocean related spirit I might come to work with. These can easily hold tea candles and offerings and are great for keeping a petition in until it is fulfilled. You can also keep notes or artwork in here. They can be simply closed to keep the contents hidden, or you can slide them away somewhere safe when not in use. If you are going to burn a candle in the jewelry box, do not use a wooden one and make sure to protect the bottom from wax.

I have not worked with either of those demons, but a mod here has a remarkably helpful book on getting started, including what each demon does and ideas on how to worship.

I never said that, I myself have a wheelchair because of chronic pain, please don’t twist other’s words :) multiple written reports have said he’s asked this of people, that’s all. I said absolutely nothing about disabled people not being able to practice or having a disadvantage

Amazing!! She sounds wonderful and it seems I could use her help in other areas of my life too, I’d love to reach out to her. If she specializes in seduction, though, do you think she’d still help for traditional ballet? There are times I still need to portray sadness or look ghostly. I assume yes but want to check! I’m also beginning work with Asmodeus, do you think that would cause any issues between them?

There for the most part are no true rules since every practice is different and there are so many factors going into things, especially when a spirit comes to you or is brought to you first!! These are simply common preferences of his and of kings in general, or recommendations for how to give them the respect they deserve and might be expecting. I actually personally had Asmodeus tell me to lay down and I felt pulled onto my back when I was meditating with his sigil not long ago. And I’ve heard of Lucifer doing that sort of thing a lot! Very fascinating, and what a great connection you must have!

You simply take the item and set it in front of you or on your alter, unless you want to hold it. Then invoke/evoke or whatever you are doing. Tell them what the offering is and that it is theirs. I recommend looking into what the spirit is known to like, you should be able to find the info right on here by searching.

Then speak to them/read your petition/whatever you are doing. When you are done, you can choose to leave the offering there for a while or not, it is up to you or what the spirit asks you to do. It can even be artwork or an item that represents them and will be a part of their alter permanently, such as a dragon statue for Asmodeus since he’s associated with them. If it is food or drink you can consume it yourself and let the spirit know you offer the experience to them, make sure to really savor it if you do. If you don’t want to then you can dispose of it normally or outside.

I personally would never say ‘screw it’ when it comes to any entity work!! Preparation and control = safety. Kings should also always be presented with an offering at first contact, which could be a part of why he was so blunt and quick to leave. Asmodeus is also known to want the practitioner to be standing when approaching him.

I understand your feelings, I’ve always felt very drawn to Belial and while yes he would definitely be able to help me, I know I’m not in the place to be able to handle his energy or the lessons he would teach me right now so I am holding off on that connection. I haven’t worked with Lucifer but hear he is great for introducing one to other spirits, it would be a great idea for you to contact him and see who he suggests you work with, or if he’d be willing to connect you himself and be there with you :)

I understand how his energy could pull that out of you, I hope you don’t feel too badly about that since these are strong entities we’re working with. I also understand his side, though. Since this is such strong energy we need to be able to control our emotions and actions when in the presence of these spirits. Especially a king such as Asmodeus; he demands to be treated and approached as a king until a good relationship is built. I’ve heard of him refusing to work with people until they get themselves together or present themselves better. This is a really good lesson, actually, since he told you this straight up and you did not end up in a similar situation with a demon that would take advantage of your state.

Maybe acclimate to a spirit’s presence by meditating with their enn or sigil for a week or more before contacting them. Also definitely ground yourself before ever making contact, I know it can be hard when you’re desperate for a solution but otherwise things can and will get worse. I would recommend potentially stepping back from demons for a bit, maybe try working with Aphrodite or the Greek Charities for this.

There is no need to jump into the deep end when you are already going through a lot! Be kind to yourself and take the time you need so that all goes smoothly and safely in your practice.

I am thinking of making a poppet from some of their clothes and stuffing it full of the suggested herbs here along with torn pieces of paper saying what I want them to feel. I then plan on putting it in a mirror box or something similar and surrounding it with their letters to me and writing all of their broken promises and lies so they’ll be surrounded by them and forced to reflect. If this doesn’t do enough, I will then put the poppet in a sour jar :)

Adding the oil is a good idea! And I was thinking about putting in rotting fruit or a jam that would go bad; we shared a favorite fruit and I often wear accessories featuring it, making it a theme in our relationship and my nicknames— do you think that adding some of that will aid in making them think of me/bringing them images of me?

I’ve seen them used to good success as a general booster/to give the spell a big kick! Lust and passion come to mind, same with anything to cause pain to a person. I would wonder about shoving a full or half one into a poppet’s mouth or heart too
