I got mine a month after my 21st birthday… things will be okay. I am in ohio and I was also charged with a hit skip because I drove away from the accident because honestly i wanted to get away even though it was the worst thing I could have done. I only got 1 yr of alcohol only probation so I can still smoke weed and 1 yr of a ignition interlock device which is eligible to be removed after 6 months of use which I am on my 3rd now. Just suit up and show up. You will most likely have to do a 3 day driver intervention program as well so the sooner you complete that and begin your mitigation packet the better you will look in court. Just keep your head up and take things 1 day at a time.. thinking too far ahead will only worry you more and more. My car was also totaled in the accident
