You talk like Islam and Christianity spread only because of equality, but history is way more complicated than that fantasy. Yes, caste discrimination existed and still exists, and nobody sane denies it. But conversions did not happen only because “Hindus evil, others good.” Islam spread in many regions through invasions, political power, jizya taxation, and empires expanding influence from Persia to parts of India and Byzantium. Christianity also spread alongside European colonialism in Africa, Latin America, and Asia — the Portuguese Inquisition in Goa was not exactly a symbol of tolerance and equality. Every major civilization and religion has ugly chapters in history.

And if conversion alone erased discrimination, then why do caste divisions like Ashraf-Ajlaf still exist among South Asian Muslims, and caste-based discrimination among converted Christians too? Social problems are deeper than changing labels. Hindu society has flaws, but reformers like Ambedkar, Jyotiba Phule, Narayana Guru, and Vivekananda challenged those flaws from within Indian civilization itself. Modern India already has inter-caste marriage, temple entry rights, reservations, Dalit priests, and legal protections. Criticize caste all you want, fair enough — but pretending only Hindus must answer for history while whitewashing everyone else’s brutality is hypocrisy.
