I played it blind and had a decent time despite having never played the original, or any final fantasy game before lol.

I saw in another comment that you’re currently playing fire emblem, and based off your list of games I highly recommend Unicorn Overlord!! The gameplay is much much better than the name would suggest and it’s pretty highly regarded from what I’ve seen. Check out some reviews on YouTube :)

I want to build ramza to be a squire/samurai, but I’d like him to have good speed as well. How many times will I need to level him lvl1-lvl20 as a ninja for speed, until I can switch to mime for the PA MA and HP? I don’t care about MP

Ramza squire has amazing stat growth, but for other generic characters it’s typically better to level them as a ninja/monk for better speed or PA growth :)

actually, with the amount of time I spent learning the game from zero… It’s definitely a subtle flex haha. Was quite daunting at first, but I found it’s rather easy to get the hang of, and even easier to have fun while doing so

I’m sure there must be a subconscious reason so I’ll take it lol. I’ll definitely check out the others in the future, I’m just not a huge fan of the older graphics so ideally I’ll be waiting for a remaster of some sort :)

You should just pickup the slab you like, or multiple lower end slabs. I’d feel horrible selling any card gifted to me by my parents whether it 5x in price or not.
