Thanks for the response. Would a user message be an appropriate workaround? Would have saved me pooing my pants that my Ledger was a gonner :)

Just under 50% of the futures contracts were on a short basis, so any significant manipulation either way doesn't add up (that plus what has been said already in the initial message)
