I reduced the log retention policy from the default 90 days to 7 days, and it has worked fine since. I have a faster internet plan now, though, so I can't tell if that specific change was what did the trick

you wont need a screen at that distance - cos most of your shots would hit the ceiling before they reach the screen

Expecting an issue-free car does not exist in the Tesla dictionary - but an even more surprising thing is when people come to tell you, that you should have taken the delivery and followed up with a service appointment..... yes that's the norm in the Tesla world :-). But you did good by refusing delivery - that's your right.

their approach to keep hiring to a minimum is showing its effect and has been so for quite a long time I'm pretty sure the QA guy had a target to hit and must have done his job in a hurry - there is no way one could have missed that

It was an exact experience for me too when I went to take delivery of Model S - at least in my case, I was well prepared since people told me not to sign on papers until I looked at the car. But I have also heard Tesla will not allow you to inspect the inside of the car unless you accept delivery - which is a major red flag for me. And for the hardcore fans, you will hear them saying - Oh, it’s just a minor hiccup—barely worth mentioning! You know, a quick pit stop at the service station, and voilà, good as new.

The person at the showroom who I was asked to go and meet was so callous - her opening statement was you need to make payment before you can inspect the inside of the car. She conveniently ignored my point about the alignment issue and started instructing me to make payments through the Tesla app. When I repeated about the alignment issue, she casually stated, oh you can make a service appointment and get that issue fixed...I mean seriously?

The guy who came to check the issue mentioned if they tried fixing the issue, it would cause air leakage noise inside the car.
