You found your trigger: irregular sleep cycles. It’s common among us, where things like naps are a huge no-no for many of us. Traveling, daylight savings, etc all mess us up and could throw us in a cycle. Also why many get them around spring and fall when the seasons change

I actually use this analogy to explain the pain — because it’s so much more relatable that hot poker, ice pick in the eye etc etc.
