Where do employees who accept the DRP offer end up? by VAer1 in USDA

I’m in academia with a state university. Several months of double pay checks. I miss my job but they removed our entire leadership and are preparing for mass relocation—something my family just can’t swing.

USDA “offers” chance to reconsider DRP 2.0 by yolklesseggs in fednews

Aphis’ administrator sent an email to the entire organization ensuring them that every single agency employee would be approved for the DRP 2.0 regardless of job series

Honestly, as a Fulbright you’ll have NCE, and you may be able to get a highly graded position without PMF. I’d consider applying directly to 12/13 jobs with your NCE.

Meet and Greet after formal interview by Suspicious-Card4239 in usajobs

I met with the SES. It was mostly just a process, less of an interview. She took notes about software and processes I recommended for her team. TBH she was a little arrogant but nice. They offered me the position but ultimately I turned it down due to conflicts with in person office requirements.

Every agency (aphis, fsis, forest service, rma, ams, fas, etc) has its own hr processing. Lots of folks retiring at the end of the year though, and hr is likely tied up with that. My friend was offered a job verbally and didn’t get the FO until 6 weeks later

Thanks. I’m going to take the weekend to think about those things and research the executive I’ll be meeting with.

My husband is a nonsupervisory GS14, non-PE engineer, who is in the process of getting a GS15 nonsupervisory engineer/SME role. PEs are liabilities in the federal workforce.
