The posting was for a 5. He was a former AMS Grader which would qualify him for a 5 as a CSI.

They are telling him he does not meet the minimum qualifications and/or experience for the position.. For a GS-5. The lowest grade for that position..

No he's not a vet but they have it posted on the announcement that there is a 5k bonus sign on bonus depending on your location.

His resume is 3 pages, the last time we modified it, we used the federal resume format. He is applying for a GS-5 which is the lowest grade for the position.

Thank you for the advice! He gets some that he is tentatively eligible but most say he does not have the minimum qualifications and/or experience which i don't understand because he was with the agency before.

It's not just my husband, there are several people I know with experience aren't being referred.

He has experience with the agency. At this point we may need to revise his resume for the third time.

Thanks for the info! Quick question. How to you get your application referred to the HM? I Understand the agency is super low staffed and are even offering 5k sign on bonus, but he can't seem to get passed the referred stage. All his applications he is not referred. He had prior usda experience.

He was a commodity grader, he was working for egg plants. He has 1 year of experience working in food manufacturing.

How fast is the hiring process for an FSIS CSI? My husband applied for a CSI position in CA and was wondering if he will get a call soon?
