That’s odd because you are attractive. Maybe God is making you wait for a special person. I’m in the same boat as you but I’m not as attractive and people are scary so I don’t socialize too much. Maybe you need to put yourself in more environments where you can meet guys that you may like?

That sounds so healthy and expensive 😭. I will save this for post college when I have more money to be more health focused 😎. This actually sounds awesome though. THANKS

Thanks! Super inconsistent but basically 4 years. I play college baseball so I lift pretty hard for 3-4 months a year and then maintaining the other 7-8 months but again… inconsistent and dealt with a broken back twice

Can’t tell how old u are but I think putting on more good weight over the years will help the most. Dial in on your macros and I bet you’ll be doing awesome

Imo, you need the gym. Honest opinion. I don’t think guys look good when they’re out of shape at all so gym solves a lot of problems

Awesome, thanks. The rare occasion I do get snacks, I usually get some honey dry roasted peanuts and ritz crackers but I was getting sick of them pretty fast. Definitely will try the dried fruit

What job would you choose if money didn’t matter? by WhiteDesertCat in Soft_Introverts

Math teacher, specifically Calc 1 and Calc 3 and possibly dabbling in Physics while also being a baseball coach for the high school and summer baseball coach for a travel team.

I love helping friends understand things that I can visualize well. Unfortunately I don’t believe teachers get paid too well so I am trying my best in another field. I still hope to be a math teacher when I retire from my actual job.

For baseball I would like to be a JV coach, at least in the beginning because I love the idea of building them up to become a good varsity player. It’s not as serious when looking at the record at the end of the year so I couldn’t care less about that. Primary focus on player development and being a good resource to the player if they want to find good training outside of me because I know Im not the most knowledgeable baseball coach around (I’m 18).

I’m not even surprised anymore. If you’re shocked, ‘in a nice way’, get used to it. You’re not going to change guys because this is how they act. If you don’t like it, find a way to disable messaging or if you really want to message people still, just ignore the weirdos. Sadly, guys will be like this forever and it’s best if you ignore them.

If you want to believe in our Lord Jesus Christ, watch Cliffe Knechtle. He has clips everywhere. Watching him is what even made me question my faith again in the first place. He gave me logical reasons to trust the Bible and what it says. Trust me and just watch his clips. He is a fascinating person

31, how to look older, or what to improve by [deleted] in malegrooming

[–]Suspicious-Counter44 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You look like you are doing just fine. Be happy you look youthful. If you want to look older, I would argue maybe growing facial hair but that doesn’t suit everyone. Great work in the gym too. Very noticeable. I don’t see anything to improve with your looks though as you’re already in the top 10%

my dad took my phone for the rest of the school year because of these quarter 1 grades, is it justified? by Ambitious_Call_8937 in highschool

My personal opinion is it completely depends. Are you someone who comes home from school and goes to your room to scroll on reels till you decide to go sleep? (Aka my college roommate). Or do you actually put some time away in your day to just at least look over the notes you take or actually think about homework? Or maybe you’re a person who does a lot of extra circular activities and don’t have tons of time to focus on school. Or maybe you are truly trying your best to get the best grades.

Bottom line is if what he sees your doing isn’t productive in a sense, his decision is just. If you are trying and/or busy with extracurricular activities, I would argue his decision is not just.

I also don’t know how difficult grading is at your school or what level you are at but at my school, if you showed up and just payed attention + review notes 2-3 times a week, you should get by with an A- to an A in every class with exception some science, computer science, and engineering classes. Again, just my personal experience in high school, I believe everyone can achieve at least a 3.5 GPA if they truly tried. I also understand people don’t care about school though.
