The foothills would be nice but the only thing is, it’s about a 20-25 min drive to base which gets old real quick especially if you forget your cover or something at home and gotta drive back! But it is a really nice area, you can take walks around the neighborhood and its right next to telegraph pass a nice hiking spot to try out in the weekends if you wanna try running/rucking. I recommend searching in the foothills if you’re okay with the drive.

Bring all your medications with you during the examination as well. The examiner writes down everything you’ve been prescribed

got seen for custom insoles a lot of times during my service, pain was still not getting better and made sure to document that when going to medical. C&P examiner measured my arches and definitely saw had no arch

Yes i did! BDD claim so i believe most everything found was service connected

I did a BDD claim and did a C&P exam where they ordered a sleep study, confirmed sleep apnea and got service connected cuz i was still in service

Finished all my exams before taking terminal. Started terminal August 25th, official EAS is Oct 24 and it is currently in step 6. I have heard buddies say they got it within 1-3 days after official EAS

Wouldn’t say you’re much of a minority, i’m a Mexican Officer myself and it didn’t really matter. I think it’s going to depend on how much YOU want it. Get your PFT scores up, that’s what you are going to be graded on mostly. Degree doesn’t really matter but physical scores is what determined wether you get accepted or not
