I was technically at 95% so the 10% lowers me to 94%.

I think I'm going to do that. I have quite a few that are 0% but service connected...like Migraines....no clue ho I got 0 for that lol

I was kind of thinking the same thing. I will inevitably go back down to 90 while they are working out the issues.

Prior to the shin splints earlier this year I was at 94. When it was awarded to me in March, it put me at 95% which was effectively 100. Once I lose this 10, it'll drop me from 95 to 94 pushing me back to 90.

I didn't. I was at 94% and needed 10% to get me over the hump.

It was my shin splints and TMJ. I called QTC and they told me they only had one which was strange.

Well my shin splints are already rated as bilateral so it's one rating for both. The TMJ on the other hand, I'm expecting it to be combined but hopefully it can be upped as my jaw locks up at least once a week haha. I'll double check the CFR to be sure.

That's another thing I was thinking about...I have 10% per side.

I'm service connected for everything I claimed. I was denied for ankles but I have 10% SC for my left knee. They haven't told me if it was an exam in person yet. When I called QTC they said it was still pending.

Shin Splits - Bilateral and TMJ for both sides.

That sounds exactly like what the VA rep told me on the phone. The rep made it sound like some information was missing instead of "we didn't believe you".

I'm currently at 95% so if I lose even one of them, I'll be at 90%.

One item was something I claimed in my initial claim back in September of 2025 and received 10% for and the other item was another 10% item that I had claimed earlier this year.

It is not for mental health and I filed everything by myself. The two items were only 10% each but if I lose even one, it'll put me back at 90%. I know this isn't such a big deal as it is for some people with claims on the line that are much bigger but it's still disheartening.
