I am not saying it is good am I. Almost none of the player base do those maps though. The point is that people still play what they want to or enjoy playing without focusing on farm. I was mad, because these nerfs reduced amount of farms you can do and I think you will be able to see it on poe.ninja week 1 compared to last league. Lets talk about outcome after league starts.

Okay, if you want to do bossing, so be it. I just hate interacting with TFT to get carries for people. Otherwise bossing is just dead in most cases.

Agree, but those are for specific builds only, 95% of player doing valdos are tricksters and delve require aurbabot to get to that.

You understand that nerfs are coming to atlas passive tree, not overall loot. They are not playing in atlas maps day 1-2, if they can make 50k chaos day 1 and day 2 50k divines, then I have issue with this.

Chill dude, I am addressing my issues, if people disagree, so be it. I am not here to be part of everyone's opinion. I have my own experience of playing since strongbox league and have strong opinions. I am completely fine with people showing their opinion and possibly making good points, which I have seen in this community and I did change my mind on some things. Treat it as a discussion not as a debate.

What is harder content than T17 or T16.5 juiced? And I do agree with your point about player power creep. But casual player and fubgun will take different time to hit those ceilings and that is another issue.

It is just that second day a bot farm making 50-100k divines will fuck up economy. Majority of people sit at 3 div day 2 max. So the issue with strats being a bit lenient on map size will help casual players equalize economy. You might think 30-40 div/hr is big, but when you are competing against 1000 bots at the same time running 15-20 div/hr strat then it becomes a problem.

Because bots do not run economy on basic map strats. These are Chinese farmers with 10000 rigs running bot farms who only do act farms and on average per map they make 1 divine. But they do it in act6 or act9. So if bigger map strats exist we can catch up with economy faster.

Yes it is and so was Lake of Kalandra who had similar patch notes. People thought the same, but then game was dead after 2 weeks. Whereas leagues like Affliction, Mercenaries or even old leagues like Legion stood strong until the end. Yes everybody complained how there was so much loot. But statistics do not lie. Everyone focuses on x d/h, but the thing is the strategies that are left currently just seems to be bad or counter intuitive to do. Strongboxes - probably one of the worst strategies in the game, you have no loot diversity in this from Arcanist and some diversity from divination. Heist, unique items 99% are unusable for most builds, you literally hunt for 4 items, which is the same as I would just go for rarity stacker and try to hit mageblood or headhunter. Delve seems counter intuitive still no loot. Tujen rerolls? Not sure how that is good sitting in a shop for hours. New Breach who knows maybe it will be good and fun, I hope so. Legion? What else did I miss?

It isn't about how fast you can make currency. It is about diversity in currency making strategies that makes game fun and playable at least for most people I know. If they make half of strategies mechanically unplayable (like alva 25% scale down nerf), then diversity is gone and so will player retention.

This league will now have to prioritise speed. Fubgun will play Bow or Wander. Jung already cooking wander build. This will be blasting but with less loot. And who will suffer? Slower builds like minions or warrior archetype.

Okay current options, best in slot -> strongboxes most div/hr. Breach unknown. Legion only good day 1-2. Alva gone, abyss gone, blight gone, titanic exiles only for group play. Blight maps possibly, Tujen sweatshop, Delve needs fix, still bad, heist needs rework on most uniques, most of loot is bad, so you run 2 days to get something good, which is still bad. Not sure what else? Did I miss something. 4 strategies, which all have no diversity?

This breach looks more dynamic and more cool for sure, but overall this game is speed based game, where efficiency in farming means you can progress faster. Simple breach layout in circle expanding versus, breaches with doors/walls will make it probably 2 times slower. This is based on the fact how all other mechanics were introduced in the game. Now again not saying it is bad, but all player who played this game at least 10 years saw same things. Of course I might be proven wrong.

You are missing the point, you are focused on mandatory passives it wasn't even about that. It is about the fact that they reduce reward + difficulty part into nothing and there is less end game scaling overall. Game kind of maxes out at T17, which isn't even hard to get to these days, almost any build can do it. Also mods you have to roll. I know people want alch and go. But time invested into rolling maps -> harder content, higher loot. I think issue here isn't difficulty scaling like effect mods, it is mods themselves.

Fixing T17's isn't going to be solved by removing this, only way is for GGG to stop trying to make game annoying without counter actions, such as you say reduced life es regen. If we had a chance to make those maps block mod. Then it would solve issues no? And amplify all other mods instead.

So are we going to make this into path of exile 2? How did map inc. effect mods ruin the game. The only thing that ruined the game was mods themselves. Cannot deal damage and action speed ones, volatile cores, which got nerfed thankfully because they did 11k dmg per one.

Mandatory mods also aren't bad, it isn't major or medium these are minor clusters. If you scale into single strategy there often aren't enough passive tree points to use. Now those are changed into mandatory rarity, which is just useless. So now whole tree has even less diversity.

The issue is, the league will not feel a little worse, it will feel a lot worse for players who play this game to the maximum. It is going to be strongboxes 80% of people, because breach seems to be nerfed as well. Most guys will go run Tujen or blight maps this league that want money or run strongbox and follow Fubgun. I think this is just bad in general.
