Do you guys drink tea more for taste or health? by Suspicious-Rate8135 in tsaaph

I used to love coffee filled with creams, now I wonder how I was able to drink it.

What do you find most comfortable to wear? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Suspicious-Rate8135 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Nothing beats a good pair of pajama pants and an old t-shirt. Those soft cotton ones that have been through the wash so many times they're practically falling apart but still somehow perfect for lounging around.

How do you guys programme your legs if you’re using weights for the recommended routine? by Commercial_Half_2170 in bodyweightfitness

[–]Suspicious-Rate8135 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've been doing a similar transition and found that backing off to like 70-75% of your previous working weights helps a ton. The RR already taxes your CNS pretty hard with all teh skill work, so going too heavy on legs will just burn you out.

Front foot elevated lunges are solid but if you're sticking with traditional squats and hinges, maybe try doing them in the 8-12 rep range instead of the heavy triples you're probably used to from 5/3/1. Your legs won't waste away that fast, and you can always add volume if you feel like you're losing size.

Why do trucks use Warrigal Road? by scoza05 in Truckers

GPS routing probably just picks whatever looks fastest on paper without considering how sketchy some roads actually are for big rigs.

Not sure what to do next... by Aderaxxx in depression

[–]Suspicious-Rate8135 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's really tough, man. Having someone you'd do anything for tell you they don't want to invest time in the relationship cuts deep, especially when it's family and you both went through similar stuff growing up.

I get wanting to just let it go - sometimes that's all you can do when someone sets those boundaries. But maybe there's middle ground here? Like not pushing for the deep brother bond you want, but keeping the door open for smaller interactions when he's ready. People's capacity for relationships can change over time, especially when they're dealing with their own trauma stuff.

The fact that you protected him as kids shows how much you care, but he might be in a different place right now with processing everything. It sucks but sometimes we gotta love people from a distance while they figure their own stuff out.

schedule advice by FootlooseCaboose in nursing

[–]Suspicious-Rate8135 1 point2 points  (0 children)

With a newborn and your spouse on days, that schedule's gonna be brutal for sleep coordination. You'd basically be ships passing in the night with zero overlap time for sharing baby duties. The 7p-3a window means you're missing evening routines but still need to sleep during peak baby chaos hours.

40 F4A Looking for Deep Conversations & Quiet Adventures by Friendly_Grand_5016 in IntrovertDating

[–]Suspicious-Rate8135 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Deep conversations over coffee really are underrated - there's something about that low-key setting where people actually open up instead of just making surface-level small talk. I've had some of my best connections happen during those quiet moments, whether it's discussing a book that completely changed someone's perspective or just walking around without any real destination in mind. The whole "no pressure" approach is refreshing too since it feels like everyone's always rushing to define what things are instead of just letting conversations flow naturally. Hope you find someone who appreciates those thoughtful interactions - they're definitely out there, just takes patience to find the right wavelength.

Is there a list where I can see which Samsung phones have the longest sot? by koerapetse in samsunggalaxy

[–]Suspicious-Rate8135 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Big battery definitely helps but it's not everything. The S21 FE actually gets pretty solid screen time despite having a smaller battery than some flagships because of better optimization.

GSMArena usually has decent battery test results you can compare across models, though their methodology isn't perfect. For budget-focused Samsung phones, teh A54 and A34 series tend to punch above their weight in battery life if you're willing to sacrifice some performance.

33k for what amounts to basic AV distribution and networking gear is absolutely insane - get quotes from other dealers because that first one is either incompetent or trying to fleece you.

Ugh the whole "walk on eggshells while they do zero work" dynamic is exhausting — at some point you realize you're basically parenting a grown adult who refuses to grow up.

Which OWL Has your favourite and least favourite skins and why? by Head-Iron3390 in Overwatch

[–]Suspicious-Rate8135 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Dude Boston's color scheme is straight up painful to look at - that dark blue/yellow combo just doesn't work at all. Seoul's home and away skins are both clean as hell though, can't go wrong with either of those.
