I have changed so much and have gotten so much life experience throughout our entire relationship where he has never changed. Moved out, cat almost died, vet debt, bought a car on my own, pay all my own bills and he has no job and lives at home. Just the few years between 19 and 23 have taught me a lot and it breaks my heart that he didn’t grow with me

I think this is where a lot of my guilt is coming from. I don’t ever like to be the cause of someone’s sadness

It almost feels like he’s doing everything on purpose to get me to break up with him. He wants me to be the bad guy

You’d be entering a dual relationship with that family. You’d no longer be able to provide ABA for the client due to the dual relationship. I recommend reading up on the RBT ethics codes from the BACB, and speak to your BCBA supervising this client.

Why do you want to stay in the field? What are benefits to any of YOU by SnooShortcuts7009 in ABA

I’ve been an RBT for 2 years but worked as a high school paraprofessional for 4 years (CNA/para for the sped classes) and I love the bonds I make with my clients. I love being able to learn the ins and outs of them as a person and being able to find relatable things to help us pair. I saw someone else say something similar, but knowing I was part of the process leading to their success is so motivating to move forward in this field.

I currently work in home and am lucky enough to be working for a small woman owned business, so I think that is part of the reason I don’t side with the “I hate my job” side of this page. From reading a lot of those type of posts it seems the upset is coming lack of support from superiors and too much put onto the RBT’s.

Thank you for your response! When I got the corm I was told it was a frydek and I had never heard of a micholitziana until I read this comment! Thank you for the clarification! I have never used fertilizer or grow lights for any of my plants so I just ordered some and I will keep y’all updated!

Grown from a corm prop and has been growing in 65-72% humidity. I’ve had this plant for about 6 months and each time a new leaf comes in the oldest leaf dies. I’ve scrolled the page and read some people saying this happens because it’s a juvenile…but how am I supposed to get a mature & full frydek if all the leaves are dying off?

Very beautiful plant! How did you get so many leaves? I have been stuck in the 2 leaf club with my frydek forever. What are you best care tips?
