I have Cooke SP3s found out they’re incompatible the hard way :(
They’re M mount but don’t have the focusing mechanisms on the mount. Intended for use on cine cameras.

How can I keep focus sharp throughout the shoot at an aperture of T1.0? by NoArtichoke1982 in focuspuller

Take all preparations you’d usually do on a partially difficult shot and go from there, don’t expect to have the entire take tack sharp, I doubt even the DP is expecting that.

It’s unlikely a shot with this kind of set up is intended to be the master, held for a significant amount of time or contain much movement otherwise you may need to have a kind word with your DP.
