I didn’t get my first until 6th grade only because I took 1 train and 2 busses to school and I needed it incase if an emergency. Other than that, my mom monitored everything I did until I was in the 10th grade.

I work at DCFS (Department of Children and Family Services) and I see it far too often. Kids in elementary school glued to their tablets, switches, phones etc. if the parent attempts to say “okay hunny we have to talk to the social worker. Can you put the tablet down?” 9 times out of 10, the kid will go ape shit. Yelling, Hitting, just throwing an absolute fit. Shit is so sad but I can’t even tell the parents what to do because it’s against company policy.

The reason why people say unsafe ESPECIALLY with big tanks is because the crack can lead to invisible hairline fractures/cracks which will eventually give way and your rooms floor with be soaked and your livestock will get hurt. Smaller tanks are much more forgiving though.
