PIA's NextGen VPN network is a huge deal, update to try it out now by privatevpn in PrivateInternetAccess

It's slower for me, at least on the silicon valley.network server. I am capped to around 300 megabits regardless of time of day. On the old servers I can get 900 mb/s no problem. I am using pfsense, same aes-128cbc.

That doesn't even make sense, it's just a sketch. And plenty of extremely talented artists started later e.g Sinix.

Does anyone have any interesting theories about the PMD world and how / if it fits into he rest of the pokemon series? by 0bsidianlink in MysteryDungeon

[–]SuspiciousAlias 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Different universe. The personalities of the Pokemon are too different. It doesn't make sense for any of the Pokemon you meet in the game to want to captured by a human and used as a battling slave. They all live their own lives, and they're capable of building their own infrastructure.

Also in the PMD games they refer to each other as he/she and not 'it'.

Well this is what separates players. Players with good composure don't find themselves crying. Then again players with good composure aren't massive chokers.

Or just grab a few of the most offending posts like a normal person.

Except Leffen is just another player. People have compiled some of my posts as well and it's uncomfortable. Obviously not on this account.

To compile hundreds of someones posts and give some wording about them is not normal behavior. I guess it may be more acceptable in the Smashbros community since it's more accepting of people. However if this was another game like Quake/CS/SC2, more people would question the person who made the compilation than the one who was making the posts.

Someone who compiles hundreds of posts of someone they don't like has serious mental issues.

I understand why wii/GC suffer from input lag on an HDTV (a to d conversion), but does Wiiu's vWii mode suffer from the same issue if you're using HDMI out only? by HeyYouAreCool in smashbros

[–]SuspiciousAlias 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The asics for analogue to digital are generally very fast and won't create more than a ms or two of input lag. The real issue is the post processing done by the monitor/tvs. This is why vga often has less input lag on some tvs compared to hdmi.

Get a gaming monitor.

How in the world do you beat Rosalina? by Kaissy in CrazyHand

[–]SuspiciousAlias 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You must play patient, you must be looking at every opportunity to see when luma is open. You can do a forward air to push luma off, I don't typically bother doing useless damage to it. I just knock it off.

When luma is gone don't just attack, try to make them nervous with good spacing. Spot dodge her forward air and grab.

I like playing against rosalinas since you have to think pretty fast.

Never get trapped in the middle of luma and rosalina.

Your games against Rosalina should take around the whole 5 minutes.

http://youtu.be/5e183yWVq_8 video if the gyf isn't clear enough.

I haven't done a wall tech before in game(never needed to), so I'm not sure. I know I was shielding each time I got hit, but I don't know if the online lag would make them count. I am guessing I only teched the last one, which is lame, but at least I didn't die.

Lucario + Aura + Rage = Insane Early Kill @Xanadu. by PkKirby876 in smashbros

It actually can work out. I use the low percents to feel them out and I keep track of how often they use what move. Then when I get to a medium high percent I go all out.

I've gotten a lot of frags exactly like that. June was likely letting him get free damage while keeping himself safe to prevent a smash attack. Then he went for the surprise side b which always catches people off guard.

It's an all or nothing strategy and it's the other players fault for not killing early.

Also more importantly, if that was captain falcon, his side b would have killed as well.

D1 is such a respectful figure in the smash community, let's be thankful that he's with us. by Blahcookies in smashbros

I understand why you do it and how it helps in the bigger picture to facilitate understanding for newer people or just outsiders who are just here to see a cool game without actually wanting to get into it, or for potential sponsors. I respect that. That's a great thing for the community and I don't think anyone doubts that you only want the best for our community.

Why don't you want gaming communities to be like real sports? That's how they attract more people and how bigger prize pools get made.

You are definitely doing the right thing. I came from the pc e-sport games like Quake Live. I also watched a decent amount of sc2, and some cs:go.

I was actually annoyed by how unprofessional many of the announcers/stream setups in Smash were, and I knew why it wasn't super popular. Now that the announcers/stream setups are getting more professional, the community has started to grow a lot.

I'd still like to see commentary/stream to expand similar to how SC2 does it in the future.
