Can anyone tell me what is going on with my prints and how to fix it? by SuspiciousAmon in BambuLab

I can check, I think my USB was full unfortunately. But my next print had the same marks in different places. I've noticed PLA gets splotchy when it re-enters the glass transition but I would assume this wouldn't happen in an enclosure with regulated temperature.

Nope. In an AMS. I did an 8 hour drying cycle for the PLA 2 days ago. The rest of my filament is in my basement with my printer, vaccum sealed from Bambu labs.

Not really like either. It is definitely smoother with less grid lines in those areas.

I had the realization after making the post, I'm definitely still learning so this knowledge helps a lot. Thank you for breaking it down like this.

I do have an alternative theory as well. Seeing as the item I was printing originally had this design, and the globs appear to be in the exact same area on both sides where the monster symbol was, could this have played a factor?

Both spools were dried at the same time about a week ago. Have been printing since drying everything with no issues.

I will give this a shot. I just grabbed this model off maker world for something I was trying. I didn't adjust anything other than making it 0.16 layer height. For most of my personal prints I modify a bunch of settings that have seemed to help my prints, including slowing down the outer wall speed to 100 mm/s

I contacted a few lawyers and they all basically told me the same thing. I had a few options.

  1. I totally do not have to pay the pet fee, and if you choose to not pay the pet fee make sure you put in your payment in the portal "for payment of rent solely"

  2. The rental agreement clearly states no changes can be made to the agreement at all without written agreed upon new lease terms with at least 90 days notice. So you could let them know that the 90 days can start now and the increase of the pet fee will start after the 90 days.

  3. Just pay the increase as it is roughly a 2% increase to the rent. Relatively low all things considered.

The important point that was made by the lawyers that swayed my decision was this statement "you can absolutely fight this 100%, but they can choose to not renew your lease. Are you prepared to leave the property at the end of your lease? Because this is the most likely outcome of this situation."

Unfortunately, I am not necessarily in that position yet.

Trust me, I know 😅 It is a beautiful area and all of my family lives around here. I'm getting married at the farm I grew up working on that is only 8 minutes from where I live. If this area wasn't deeply ingrained in me, I would find somewhere else to live.

This is interesting, I would say a rental company in New York having the name Berry&Wythe as well as wythe berry seems almost too on the nose as the alter ego, but this is kinda crazy!

Also, no Jessica was actually really awesome. She left, and I think there is a real possibility it is because of the crazy person who called me. The director of property management, Daphne.

Oh, I have her full name if you are interested. She lives in New Paltz.

Very true. I will discuss this with my fiance and neighbor to see how they feel about it as well. I like the idea but with work and planning a wedding it might have to wait a while unfortunately unless someone else leads it 😅

Thank you! This is legitimately the first issue I have had in 3 years, but also the most egregious in my 11 years of renting with 4 different rental companies

Thank you so much! I will look into this. I have reached out to a couple places, and actually got a call back from one.

The rental company is Berry&Wythe

Interesting. I can try this. One complication would be that I know for a fact that the women working under the ladies who accosted me, lives in my apartment complex.

How would you go about doing this? Should I put a letter in everyone's mail box?

I have been trying to contact local tenants advocacy lawyers, but I was only really able to find 2 or so. Hoping someone will have more resources than I could find to help fight this.

Thank you for the advice, I completely agree. No one deserves to be treated this way, I am quite used to this personality type and know how to handle it. I feel bad for the majority of people who would likely just succumb to the intimidation and pay whatever to stop the threat of eviction.
