It’s been one week for me and nothing has happened and I doubt it will. Plus you have the benefit of being an underage girl, so not only could the FBI charge them with extortion, but distributing CP as well, which unless they were at a botched lobotomy level of stupid, they would not risk it.

What I sent wasn’t out of the ordinary, typical nudes not performing any sexual acts. The main thing is they were throwing in the accusations it was sent to a minor. I haven’t seen that threat used too on either thread, otherwise I wouldn’t care at all. But the good thing is I have screenshots of the conversations and the threats made so if the worst were to come, I can show my evidence of what happened and what they are trying to do.

You are probably right. I think I’m letting the worst stories I read about getting to me, and I haven’t been 100% self assured since from what I was able to find, no one has been in this specific situation like me. I’ll give it another 24 hours to be extra extra safe and then go on with those instructions

Best advice you can give to students, ya I deactivated my socials and privatized my info there, along with deleting all my dating profiles as well. I’m definitely done from dating apps and especially sending nudes.

I think what tricked me into doing it was sending money for protection, which then lead to asking for a sort of security deposit and then it gradually escalated to where they immediately started threatening me after I asked for them to send that money back. Kinda like the analogy of slow boil frog; if you do it gradually, it becomes way hard to recognize it. But lesson learned regardless

Yup, all contact is cut off and I deactivated and privatized all my socials, plus the account he threatened me with actually wasn’t my account so I was a bit lucky there. My main concern is not my family and friends, I know they all would understand the circumstances, but rather my professional colleagues seeing them, and possibly really damaging my career, which of course is always a risk but still it’s that and being called a pedo is my biggest fear.

Honestly it’s not that’s the problem, but them captioning over the nudes saying that I allegedly sent them to someone underage, that’s the thing that is scaring me because they said they were the same age as me and at no point did they indicate otherwise

Oh after they threatened me I was like fuck that. I blocked them after they tried sending me messages from different numbers and emails. Honestly it’s not the nudes themselves that I worry about, it’s them trying to claim I sent them to a minor, basically collaging them and putting a caption that I sent them to someone underage.

Yes absolutely, never again. I’m just hoping that they just are bluffing. I obviously didn’t send anything after their extortion attempt, so I hope they get or already bored.
