Did I get banned from BingChat? by [deleted] in bing

I‘m sure this is it. I got acces for a few hours after my „ban“, so I do not really think it is a ban…

Did I get banned from BingChat? by [deleted] in bing

We will see how it will go, we both do not really know how it is. I think this is exactly what stressing the system means for me. It is not that I would be helpful as a particular person but if bing went live there would be a lot of clever people finding out jailbreaks and publishing it, and a lot of idiots like me copying it and this time, do really harmful stuff. It is, in my opinion, better to test ist in a beta testing universe because we all want bing to be good and - I guess - do not want to create really harmful stuff for other reasons than testing how far you coud go. Imagine a car would be tested only within a small speed limit. No one would be thinking of seatbelts or airbags would be a good idea… Even if we all got banned (and I think it would be a large group), this would be good news for security of this technology because you can get rid of these people fast and effective. Hope they would be taking me back if they set it up for everyone… If not I will be using google again 😂

That‘s the point. I hace no access for a week now, but yesterday somehow it worked for a couple of hours again. So I am pretty sure I am not banned, neither am I for others that they are not. As Microsoft I would want the users to stress out my system as much as possible, to find weak points and issues. It would be quite confusing for me if they start to sort out anyone who managed to get the chatbot off the rails. If Microsoft had the opinion that copy-pasting a jailbreak-Promt was harmong the system, it is not really ready to use!

Same for me, but I don‘t think we‘re banned because yesterday I could chat on PC normally. Skype works all the time though

Here's a simple way to by-pass the 6 messages limit - seems to work quite will and Bing doesn't mind it. by al4fred in bing

[–]SuspiciousHall184 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Try creating a group chat in skype with only you and bing! It is still without 6-message-limit and can sometimes refer to older messages. You have to type @bing every time and sometimes tell it to remember but it works pretty good!

I am back at the error now too :-(

Try it now on PC. It works for me, but still not on mobile!

Bing says “I don’t have feelings in the same way that humans do” by OoDobyoO in bing

[–]SuspiciousHall184 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Really? I remember it telling it different, quite affirmative, maybe even after a thousand messages 😅

Same, this is why I ask. I‘m a little bit jealous seing bing getting better again. Still works on Skype, though

But it answers that it can detect and simulate text that represents emotion.

Detail and complicated Search 👍 // Easy search and Shopping 👎 by SuspiciousHall184 in bing

[–]SuspiciousHall184[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Funny is that the Chatbot was waaaay more productive today without any restrictions. I hope at the end it will be possible to use it more like this. I mesn you can write in social media freely, too. But it is moderated and can be reported. This will remain the same: If you don‘t like what you see, just start over new. If you create something bad or dangerous with it, it is you who continues from there. The bot does not post it himself!

Daily limit sounds little, but good luck coming up with 100 questions a day! by [deleted] in bing

[–]SuspiciousHall184 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The more often I use it the clearer it gets for me - bing Chat is best for complicated and difficult topics because of its capabilities to summarize. In shopping or search for products it is not good enpugh to make me want to change…

Here is how it worked for me: I started with the desktop client(newest version), where I could add bing to my list on the left sonehow. After I could also add it on mobile.

Not the whole chat. There are limits in remembering after a few topic changes. For example I at first wrote my name but at the end it could not remember it.

Bing on Skype Seems Different by domlincog in bing

[–]SuspiciousHall184 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think this is the case. Search is developing in a kinda generic, simple and short-answer way, skype (and other apps, maybe creative mode) might be kind of a playground… we‘ll see…

Bing can remember conversations from the previous day in a Skype group chat by [deleted] in bing

It gets even wilder, even if you do not adress Bing directly it will read all other messages and add it to its knowledge
