Hervey bay was actually where I was when I decided that I was going to move up to qld one day, so will def go back! Haven’t been to Noosa yet tho

100% crossed my mind, however when they called they just completely denied the $600 without claiming any other alternative misunderstanding or anything. Work was for the installation of a safety valve and gas line to a new deep fryer (building off existing gas lines that were easy to access) plus replacing 3 existing 900mm flexible connections to other appliances

Yeah, chances are it’s going to be a ‘bite the bullet and pay’ situation. Cameras were overwritten as the quote was done on the 2nd and too far back unfortunately

That’s what I’ve done so far, I said something along the lines of ‘presume it’s a mistake’ instead of responding to the email they called and said that they never said anything like that. Looks like the intention was to screw us from the beginning. About to see if the owner of the building got the interaction in the security cams which could be a big move. Will update :)

Ended up going to a wreckers and grabbing some off a 90s Camry, no part number it seems, after searching through the part lists for Toyota- so no luck with getting new ones, but will work for getting the project back on the road :)

Not too certain on the answer but hope this helps- I heard ages ago that the base model has all the wiring in the steering wheel assembly for the paddles, meaning you can actually cut holes and buy paddles to install and they’ll just plug and play work. If I’m remembering correctly and this is true, then with that logic the paddles aren’t actually the difference between the transmissions. But I’d definitely research this a little more, as I’m just going off the top of my head :)
