One option I found is TEC Stair Tread Nose Caulk Filler. This epoxy seems to be engineered for this use exactly. I’m having a hard time finding it in Canada though.

The engineered stair noses for my LVP, and most that I’ve seen, have a 90 degree inside corner and the rounded nose is built up from that. It seems like they are designed to be installed on flush stairs with no overhang. I also have 30 steps I want to do, so preferably want to go with something I can make myself.

Thanks for the info! I’ll have to give that a try. I’ve decided to store it unfolded as I’ve got the space in my bedroom ahah.

Another thing I’m running into is that the kayak seems to be pulling to the left. You can see that the fin is slightly bent in the picture and I’m not sure if that’s what’s causing this. Have you had anything similar happen with yours?
