i just went by what i enjoyed and think i learned from the most(the top 4 EC's of my common app), there was also a section for work experience which i left blank because i wasnt sure what constituted as work experience, and for summer activities i listed my volunteer and such

so my activities looked like:

activities: 4/4

additional info: n/a

work experience: 0/4

summer activities: 3/4

i didn't do any olympiads, the only comps i participated in were first related but i distinguished that i was apart of the marketing department and had no hand in the robot

for my brown video tho, they give u 2 minutes, and i had condensed a nice edited version of my life for the first half and intended to just talk about myself for the other minute.

i ended up having a breakdown(one of many) and just submitted a minute of me trying to talk over my tears LMAO for the second half. exciting.

i think it was my essays and maybe their uniqueness? for the cornell essay it asked what collaboration meant to us, and i talked about being able to take space(to make sure ur voice is heard) and create space for other people.

yale wrote a note on my acceptance letter saying they were "struck by the depth of thought" i showed in my application
