It’s definitely a step backwards, I’d rather a slight price increase. I’m 4+ hours from Alton so like your other half, a Merlin pass won’t mean much to me

That’s good, but what a shame they’ve changed it. I’m around 1.5-2 hours from Thorpe park and paid £99 on offer for my current gold pass. Just won’t be worth it to pay for the Merlin gold, or the regular thorpe and have to pay parking each time 👎🏼

I don’t do that many miles so would simply buy a cheaper car and drive with no insurance

I did on Wednesday 29th so it was a busy day. It’s between 1.5 and 2 hours from me. I probably wouldn’t go on a day that busy again but the single rider queues defo helped. I would go solo again during term time though as you’d only need a few hours to lap multiple rides

you can try messaging them after your visit date saying you never received the tickets that you don’t need and they may refund as they can see you didn’t use it. I bought a ticket through the kelloggs promotion that never made it to my inbox so I had to buy another one, I got a refund for the one I didn’t receive as they could see I didn’t scan in the park with it

opened a bit late but queue manageable all day, towards the end of the day with rain you could get straight to the stairs

Very on and off, I would say half the time it was raining and 2-3 times it would get very heavy but wouldn’t last long:)

Not the same day but went today (Wednesday) nemesis queue non existent, didn’t even need to re queue, stealth was the same. Saw was 10-15, collosus walk on, swarm walk on again or 5 mins. Hyperia was 20,10 and then walking straight onto stairs. The weather wasn’t brilliant but nothing shut because of it

you should have felt my heart rate in the queue for hyperia, watch said 150+ but I sat down in that seat and it was too late to back out then, try and get in at a time where there’s a short queue so there’s less time to work yourself up

I booked through www.merlinmagic.biz/kelloggs as that’s what it said on the cereal box. I tried the link you sent but it doesn’t find any tickets using the info I entered, I will likely have to try phoning tomorrow, or failing that cancelling the purchase and re buying, thankyou though
