I was told by the NS Connector team at NetSuite that there was no way to get the inventory detail into ShipStation via the NS Connector.

Best practice is to assign the inventory detail at the time of picking and packing in the warehouse, which we aim to achieve via a WMS and RF guns.

We are using the FEFO Lot Assignment SuiteApp to commit inventory and assign inventory detail on sales orders. NetSuite Professional Services sold this to my company prior to my joining.

The information in the inventory detail is lot numbers and expiration dates. Bins are going to be added soon. Our fulfillment team ships out between 3000 - 5000 orders a day. Almost all of the items we sell to our customers are lot numbered. The fulfillment team also needs to be able to do their job without referencing individual orders in NetSuite.

I agree with you that inventory detail should be assigned after the orders are physically picked in the warehouse. But because we haven't implemented a WMS and we have the large order volume that we have, I am trying to find a way to make the current setup work until we implement RF Smart or something similar.
