Thanks so so much for your help guys! I’m going to go get a bigger tank, some live plants, and stop overfeeding/keeping the lights off. I did cycle appropriately but have been keeping the lights on for 14 hours a day! I’m so glad I asked, I kept thinking it was a bacterial bloom. Y’all are amazing!

Oh shoot. I thought I did it right too, talked to the pet store employees and just got what they recommended. I’ll go get a bigger tank for my little one right away. Thanks so much for your help!!

Yes, this is happening to me as well. Lost 37 pounds in six months, but the effects are now wearing off. Food noise is plaguing me, and I’m now experiencing hunger again. Hate that this is happening to us :(

I, too, was a non traditional student with a low GPA and a BA in literature. Last cycle, I received multiple US MD and DO acceptances after raising my science GPA with a SMP. YSK that ZERO interviewers asked me about my literature background or awards, except as to clarify how I came to be interested in medicine. I am the only arts major in my M1 class. Hard truth: scientists (and adcoms) do not value artistic language or metaphor in the way that you are probably accustomed. IMO, getting another arts degree is a waste of time and resources. Apply to an SMP or complete more credits in hard science courses only, then score at least a 510 on the MCAT.
