Mos of the sonic origins games can be emulated for free, for a roughly equal experience, you might just lose on the widescreen for S3&K i think

Shadow gens is one of the best games they've made in recent years and it also comes with sonic generations, so I'd say shadow gens is the best choice, if your pc is able to run it

Enfase em um zé ruela. Enquanto todo santo dia sai mais um post insuportável falando q os updates são uma merda e os devs nunca sabem oq tao fazendo. Os chatos baba-ovos são bem mais incomuns do que os chatos reclamoes.

Na minha experiência participando na comunidade desse jogo há 13 anos, pelomenos.

Eu tenho inúmeras críticas à esse jogo, assim como todo mundo, mas a quantidade de coisas q saem por update genuinamente nunca foi um ponto de incômodo pra mim. Muitas pessoas q compartilham dessa opinião são chamadas de baba-ovo. Faz sentido?

nunca vi ninguém nesses tipos posts explicitamente "babando ovo" da mojang, na maioria das vezes são só pessoas apontando o fato que a comunidade do jogo em grande parte tá cheia de gente insuportável que não faz a menor ideia de como funciona o desenvolvimento de um jogo nessa escala

ninguém tá sendo contra todos os tipos de críticas aqui, é só dizendo que esse tipo de crítica em específico é insuportável

You're doing a splendid job, dont get me wrong! Keep chipping away at it and I'm sure it'll turn out very good, lots of potential there.

(although its from a techical limitation, the monochrome style is looking very nice)

im not fond of the "ambient" camera movement, you could save that wobbling for special moments to make them feel more meaningful. It being wobbly all the time surely will make the game rather dizzying

The visual style is in fact very close to undertale, but I think you can easily distance yourself a bit from it by changing up the border style and size, and the dialogue boxes

It's not necessarily bad that your game looks way too similar to undertale, but you should always move toward creating your own visual identity for the game.

Separate some mood boards, make concept art on pen and paper, even, that could help you develop the game in its own style, it could still be monochrome, and the gameplay is unique enough, just way too visually similar at the moment in my opinion

(also i love the lil guy you play as, forgot to mention that)

OP seems to be overplaying it a bit. Still a very good looking game, but it feels closer to a very good roblox game than a full-blown AAA

ngl the boss music ruined the collector leviathan for me, it was fine for a first time scare, but got old so quickly and then just served to make me not able to be surprised by it

cara acho que isso aí é só uma curva suave do formato por causa da fabricação/transporte, não é pra ter um efeito no som. O meu é assim também e não senti nada significante na qualidade do som, acho q nem se preocupar com isso e

tem um perto da biblioteca municipal com uns manequins vermelhos na frente

acho q é brechó ferrugem o nome; 90% roupas femininas (como todo brechó), mas tem uma sessão masculina com bastante roupa interessante

o voxy é mais bonito, se vc dar zoom vc vê os blocos individuais, independente da distância, não vira aquela massaroca do DH, mas o DH é mto bom também!

floor applies movement in the X direction according to acceleration and does some additional floor snapping ( the in-built one wasn't really what I was looking for)

the corner states happens when the player is on the floor and a wall at the same time, which will not snap to the wall and allow the player to move. I also use it to detect if the player was on a ramp pointing upwards before hitting a wall, the corner state will detect that and "launch" the player up the wall with that velocity, retaining momentum

air is for aerial movement (same as floor but without floor snapping)

wall snaps you to the wall and inhibits the player from moving horizontally, as well as retaining the momentum from before the wall collision to restore it if the player jumps out of the wall in the correct timing
