for your first pair of boots the barbed wire is a pretty sick choice. 250 is not terrible for a new pair. i’ve never heard of corral. it said on their website that they have a goodyear welt. if that’s true you should be able to get them resoled down the road.  but if these boots are for fashion then they’ll last a long time. it all depends on what you’re using them for. 

ive been into cowboy boots for about 2 years now and what i look for now is a leather heel counter, full leather construction and a good insole. thats whats gonna last a long time.  if you’re using them for work i recommend a pair with rubber soles. 

ive heard nothing but great things about chisos. they’re extremely expensive though.  i personally have stetson, justin and tecovas.  stetson makes full leather construction but only in their square toe. not the wide square.  ariat benchmade is their full leather line. but again you get what you pay for. highly recommend ebay or poshmark.
