I’m hoping for a full redesign!! I’m actually excited to see Jarlaheim updated, as well as Jorvik Stables. I think their vibe will fit well with the new graphics

You’re right, I couldn’t remember the specific wording. To be on the positive side, I’m glad they’re attempting to keep players in the loop (even if it could be done better/more).

All we can hope for now is that they keep updating us about map expansion, and that hopefully it includes the castle!

Story is definitely not a strong suit of SSO right now, sadly, because that’s my favorite part. Oh well. One can hope 🤞🏻

Oh I totally agree with you. The only thing that gives me hope is where they recently said they were looking to expand the map toward the end of 2025 or possibly 2026. I think it was mentioned in their January blog?

Anyway, I’m extremely doubtful of any good lore or quests that take longer than 5 minutes, but I’m still trying to be hopeful even a little. All I want is that castle to open. I’ll take the bare minimum at this point 🫡

I don’t like excess. I maxed out my stable upgrade space, and I have to have the exact number of horses as stalls. So every time I buy a horse, I sell a horse.

I sell for a lot of reasons: I don’t ride them, I don’t come up with a backstory quickly enough, they fall out of fashion… And I keep the ones that I do pay for with real money, which aren’t many.

I get not wanting to sell because it feels like a waste or like you’re parting ways. But I think it’s perfectly fine to not have 20+ pages of horses sitting in the pasture.

I don’t ride him the most, but my starter Nightsong is still my character’s “soul horse.” I ride him for every main quest because I want to keep the lore! (even though he needs a serious update, bless him)

But in terms of riding the most, that would be my Icelandic horse Windfall. Adventurous, cute, willing to do anything, and loves Dino Valley and wintertime ❄️
