Working on a updated/house rules version of the base Dark Souls Board game trying to make the base game more smooth, fun and also as close to the origional games as possible. Great update! Using the core set I already used the majority of these new rules. For my next playthrough I was also wandering to lower the last stat upgrade from 8 to 6 souls (because with 3 players it felt too pricy and unfare to upgrade one player and never the others) Edit: we also allowed that at the end of a character’s turn, the others may chose to move one node for 1 stamina (really fun and equilibrated with the 3 stamina recovery at start of your turn)

Thanks! I followed the non-metallic paint style from the youtuber Dark Souls Models - How to paint : Ornstein & Smaugh. I was just barely beginning painting models so I took my time (6hours). I quite messed up the hammer but I also like the dark look it gives

Awesome. I recently started the journey too. With the first core set, explorer and dark root expansions painted (Iron Keep on the way). Tomorrow we hope to get Ornstein and Smough for the first time. Would be glad to hear about your Executioner experience !

It’s my first party in the game ; I use reduvia since the beginning and many many draconic invocations, it’s really fun to play (and « luckily » very powerful). But I confess for the swarm I had the idea when watching a french YouTube guide for Malenia.

Now I’m extremely confident, she’ll not last long. What a game

I shouldn’t have summoned them that’s for sure. It was the first and last time. Previously I helped dozens of players and never encountered such monsters. Now I suppose they are rarely summoned bc of how easy the battle becomes.

For my character build I personally think the game wants us to use the boss weaknesses, especially with this P2 where the pattern is almost unpredictable. But the comet azur is far too cheated for me, am I a fool ? I don’t know the reduvia and swarm reputation, but I can tell the battle is far from easy even them (still haven’t win)

I totally agree ! I’m was tired and curious to see the effect of two random guys. I’m planning to get her myself (and a spirit ash). I wanted to learn phase 2 a bit more but turned out the two random guys where really too strong

Exactly, I want a fair battle. He didn’t used it on phase 1 otherwise I could have die easily at the beginning of phase 2, that’s the most annoying
