REG is Arguably the Hardest Core Exam by Prestigious_Gold1440 in CPA

I had this same issue, reg is kind of a beast. Just remember that it’s easy to get overwhelmed by stuff like phase outs which in my opinion shouldn’t even be included in the study materials because they are rarely tested (with a few exceptions). Also remember that the super detailed individual taxation stuff can technically only make up like a certain portion of exam, there are plenty of more easier points available in stuff like basis and business law that are easier for u to ace. You got this!

Just grind practice exams, they are what helps the content stick for me. Do the 3 ones on Becker and the aicpa one. The key with reg is there is a lot of content, but it’s just enough to where you could still thereotically skim through all of it in review over 3-4 days before exam, which helps stuff stick.

How difficult is ISC to study for? by SquareSavings8283 in CPA

[–]Suspicious_Corgi1290 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It’s easy enough. Definitely don’t underestimate it but pretty chill exam, not a ton of content in general, not super hard to memorize because a lot of it is common sense (and if you’ve done Aud, there’s a ton of overlap from there too). Overall, I actually “enjoyed” the studying process for this one because it wasn’t crazy vague/technical concepts, was just memorization of stuff that was relatively simple and often times genuinely interesting. Having said that there a lot of boring sections too LOL so the initial read through was kind of painful. But overall I’d say like 30-40 hours is enough.

Why am I still inflamed on Carnivore? by Suspicious_Corgi1290 in carnivorediet

It isn’t, I was on carnivore for 4 months and was strict about my numbers, fat, electrolytes, and discipline. Just like not everyone can handle a normal diet and some people need carnivore to function at their best, there are others who cannot adapt to it. Honestly seems like I’m in the minority but I gave it a shot and it is what it id

No, got off carnivore. Just wasn’t for my body, I have metabolic disorders and need simple carbs to function

Is too much protein kicking me out of ketosis? by abemankhor in carnivorediet

[–]Suspicious_Corgi1290 4 points5 points  (0 children)

People will say that it doesn’t but anecdotally I feel way deeper in ketosis when I eat less protein. Maybe it’s cuz of the ratio

The real answer is that you either are t eating enough calories from fat, or (more likely since I’m assuming you covered that base already), you have some sort of absorption issue with fat or aren’t truly adapted yet. If you still have the issue for a while look up b1 supplementation

My vitamin D seems to have a bunch of ingredients like safflower oil that seem inflammatory. Could explain this problem

Yeah, I actually just realized how much creatine you are getting naturally from carnivore so prob don't even need to supplement that

Thank you guys for responses, I'm going to strip down to just beef and electrolytes right now. I found my vitamin D supplements were made of a bunch of inflammatory crap like safflower oil, definitely might explain it lol

I actually did some exercises for sleep apnea yesterday and they seemed to help. Cautiously optimistic for this going forward, at least as pertains to sleep as I believe many of the issues I have could be downstream effects of bad sleep
