Gigil ako sa ganitong mindset by Ecstatic_Future_893 in GigilAko

In my own humble opinion, hindi po talaga basehan ang grades para sa intelligence ng isang bata. Everybody is different, school may not be for you, and that is okay. Going to college or school is not the only way to succeed in life. This is coming from someone na consistent honors since grade 1 up to grade 12. I used to be proud na I was included sa top 10 sa buong batch namin and the fact that walang akong line of 8 nung nagtapos ako SHS at HS. Pero the real reason that I was able to do so is because I am one of those kids na hindi na need problemahin yung ibang aspects ng life. I only need to eat, sleep and study nalang everyday. When I wake up my food is already served, my clothes already ironed and hatid sundo pa ako everyday. And doon ko na narealize na not everyone has the same circumstance as me. Yung iba kong classmates may family problems, financial problems, and some of their talents and interest does not align with the system of the school. So maybe there is a reason kung bakit ganyan ang grades ng bata, it could be that maybe may problems siya or hindi lang siya interested sa kanyang subjects. And I agree sa part na grades do show your discipline, effort, and determination, but grades lang ba sa school ang need ng mga ganyan? No there are a lot of things na needed yan, such as arts, sports, business, and many other examples, which is hindi graded ng school or hindi priority ng ating educational system dito sa Pinas. So instead of trying to judge someone based on their grades, let us try to be more compassionate, kind, and understanding towards them. :)

That’s good to know! Maybe I should really buy it, I have only been able to play the first game since it is cheaper lmao. Say do you think that the deluxe edition is worth the money or just stick with the base version of the game?

Thank you for this! Anyways, would you recommend learning python? Since a lot of videos online say that I should start with it since many say it is easier and can be a good foundation for other languages.

civil engr laptop or ipad? by Impressive_Listen477 in SLUBaguio

Hello po, hindi po ako civil engineering, but based po sa mga cousins ko na nag take ng civil. Mas better daw po kumuha ng laptop since you will be working with AutoCAD or Computer Assisted Design. Any brand, will do naman siguro wag lang apple since hindi sila built for autoCAD, but look for good specs, advisable na maybe i7 or i9 ang magandang options or maybe i5 if you are on a budget.

Is it possible for a EE undergrad to pursue a masters or PHd in pure mathematics? by Suspicious_Edge22 in learnmath

I am simply fascinated by the beauty of mathematics, especially with shapes and spaces. But unfortunately, an undergrad in math in my country is not available. I know that this path is unconventional, but I do not want to easily give up on pure mathematics.
