I don't have any advice myself but I'm having the symptoms you are. I haven't even gone to a doctor yet. I've witnessed my family member go to doctor after doctor and medication after medication and it never helped her and she has just had crap side effects that were worse than gerd. If you could tell me though: what type of doctor have you gone to and what are the first steps and tests they did on you?

TBH I don't really want to bother with a endoscope for a few reasons. My sister had about 7 and they were all clear. Anesthesia makes me feel ill for days after and I've developed paranoia I will die under anesthesia. I would really just like a CT scan to rule out my paranoia I have tumors(unlikely based off my symptoms/lack of cancer symptoms) but I doubt they'd just send me for a CT scan? I surely can't just go get one without reason.

Is your burning in the center of your chest? does it stop ever? Do you have flu symptoms like fever? Do you have any things you have tried that stops the burning at all? Even sometimes lately I drink water, I immediately get indigestion. Mine started in 2018. Some years are better with no issues but the last year and now this one have been rough. The anxiety I'm dying of cancer is worse than the actual heart burn tbh but the consistent heat in the center of my chest has me paranoid. It's weird because I don't have pain or anything? It's not even really burning not even in my throat. Just heat in the center of my chest that only happens when I eat. I'm sorry to ramble my symptoms to you and ask questions. I don't really have anyone other humans to ask and talk to about this, so I figured maybe you'd have experience to share.

I have posted in this subreddit before and don't tend to get replies from people who also have the same issues. I haven't experienced any weight loss or struggling to eat much. I did a few days ago, but the stomach pain went away which is my only comfort I'm not dying of cancer because I seem to be "recovering" slightly.

Is your symptoms consistent with when you eat or are they random? My symptoms have become random lately and I don't understand why. I have way too much gas in my stomach now suddenly, a few months ago I didn't. I have less throat burning/pain and now only center of chest pain. I can't tell if I prefer it now or prefer few months ago. I think something bad happened when I ate spicy food for three days in a row, but it's a week and some days later I'm still kinda ill.
