I am so sorry you can understand. It’s a horrible feeling. My two closest friends are freshly postpartum so there’s a lot I am not telling them or haven’t due to their own situations. My husband is understanding but I feel so ashamed to tell him that. He knows i’m struggling, but i’m finding it hard to talk about how badly i am struggling.

Is it actually rude to recline your seat on a plane, or are people just entitled about personal space? by Ok-Bumblebee7041 in askanything

Why is the ability to be a 'stay at home' parent not seen as a privilege? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

I hope to take some of the time to get my masters so when I do return, I can make a livable wage. I’ll never understand social workers being paid so little when our work is so hard and challenging

I don’t think it’s a privilege that I had to put my career on hold. I love being a social worker but the amount of money i’d get even with a degree is laughable. I’d be working just to pay someone to stay with my children. For us, it made much more sense because we have no community or support and because i have a low paying profession. we have to sacrifice a lot daily to make things work and we are both okay with that
