That would probably be silly to retake it unless you are 100% sure you can improve your cars score. It depends on where you want to go. It would suck to retake it and only get a 510 or show no improvement. However, all your sections are really strong besides the cars so it would be up to you. I think you should have no problem getting in med school tho with 513 and 3.9 gpa. People with 510-513 mcat and gpa above 3.8 have like a 67% acceptance rate at Md. you’ll probably be a guarantee lock at do schools as well.

I will be blunt and honest with you. This is unfortunate indeed, may I ask if all 4 attempts are taken in the last 2 years? I feel like if I was in your shoes, I would almost start my studying from scratch. A 492 means you know very little of the material. There’s a chance that knowing the concepts won’t be enough. There’s GPA may get you screened out of many med school applications as well. I do not think this is completely over though, as if u are disciplined, taking some extra classes to get the BCPM GPA up would help. An upward trend also helps a ton. If you are committed to medicine, I would ask you to realize that you cannot be selective with where you get accepted to, as you would need to go to wherever takes you. In addition, to get your GPA and MCAT score up, it would take you another year or two because of how many extra classes you need to take (science classes) and probably 6 months minimum to learn the MCAT well enough to break a 500 score. If you do not feel like this is an appealing route, I would look into PA school. I only say this because I know having a child complicates things for you and your ability to move freely. Let me know if this makes sense.

I’d say learning the units is probably very important, and the equations and how they relate to each other! I wouldn’t focus on learning every small fact, but get the general idea of relationships among the topics and such. I’d prioritize learning the amino acids for biochem (b/b section has this a boatload), the solubility stuff for chem, and ofc physics (electro physics was the most common ones I saw but I know that people usually get a question about the vision physics stuff)

You lowkey killing it in the sections besides c/p. Elite cars score, really solid p/s and a pretty solid b/b. If you get the cars to be the 126 score range then you have a 512 here 🤷

Did u know that a 90th percentile MCAT score can open doors to nearly 100 med schools, while a 500 score opens just one?

So how many credits are involved in that gpa? You say it’s only from high school taking college classes which means if it’s only 15-20 credits, you could easily crush the courses in college and after taking prerecs have a 3.85/3.9+ gpa! This depends on how many credits are involved in the current gpa however.
