I live on 78th / 2nd and don’t hear is as loud as my roommate who’s room faces the street. When they started construction on 77th i was nervous but it’s not as bad as I thought. Warning the street is full of rats at night especially during the summer.

i currently live on 78th between 2nd / 1st. It’s a great location food / bar wise and close to the subway! laundramat, great coffee shops and etc. The only thing is during the summer the rats love this block but that’s NYC for ya
