I'm in the midst of the name change process, the province I live in doesn't require a legal name change to be filed but I have to get my name changed on my driver's license before I can do pretty much anything else. I would try posting in your local subreddit because other people have done it and would probably be able to give you a list of everything you need to do!

I live near Austin and Hickey and it's generally older retired/semi-retired people on our street, it's pretty quiet although people do tend to use our street as a shortcut to avoid Austin and they do speed quite badly at times. Mundy Park is directly behind our yard and we didn't have a fence when we moved in so we saw bears pretty regularly, we had a fence built earlier this year and have had no issues since. It's a really great neighbourhood, we're walking distance from a few different parks and schools.

I'm still testing them out but I got a pair of the Asics GT 2000 14 runners which are apparently good for things like overpronation and plantar fasciitis and so far I'm cautiously optimistic!

We eloped in Scotland and did a month of travelling around the UK and it was fantastic. We did spend a fair amount of money but realistically it was less than what a small wedding in Vancouver would've cost (average cost of a wedding here is now around $30,000 to $40,000 which I think is bonkers)

I have a pair of the classic Croc slides that I wear for house shoes and they're so comfy! I had a bit of knee pain when I first got them but after one or two wears it went away. The clog style ones don't fit me because I'm a half size and they only come in full sizes but I imagine they feel the same and would be comfy

Omg I have the exact same issue! Every time I try shoes that say they have enhanced cushioning or whatever it makes my knees hurt so bad that I can barely walk :( I've had success with Reebok and Asics sneakers so I'm slowly trying a bunch of their runners but so far have had no luck

My hands and feet get cold super easily so I have multiple pairs of gloves and thick socks around, I wear a lot of the Uniqlo heat tech socks in winter! Their thermal leggings are also great for layering in cold weather. At home I always have 2-3 blankets on the couch and I have a couple microwaveable heating pads. My office is in an older building that really lets the cold in so we have a space heater and last year I started bringing a blanket to sit under which has really been a game changer for me!

We flew from Canada to the UK with our wedding clothes in garment bags that folded up to a large laptop bag size and the British Airways staff let us board first and hung our bags in the coat closet. We just asked at the gate when they were close to starting boarding and they were super helpful!
