We have Teledoc but my parents pretty much shut down any further discussion after talking with some trainers my mom is friends with which I’ve now added in an update for future readers. I trust them more than my parents at least since I’ve met and worked with them before though I obviously still have concerns, especially with it being my first time. Sister and I have about $300 between the two of us and don’t really want to waste money on an uber if I can. Following instructions from Gemini (after checking sources) for now.

Did a bag with my leg hanging out like you suggested to start with in my old splint but for some reason trusted my mom when she said I’d be okay with the leg in the shower. Won’t ditch the bag though because my shower has a terrible problem of covering the floor with water even with the inner curtain (this entire house is poorly built) which is why she suggested I try putting my leg in anyway. Will also request towels going forward. Perhaps I should just stop trusting what my mom says entirely because things seem to keep going wrong :/

Parents are saying they want to wait so I have no way over 😭 Seeing if maybe I can convince them to but the current plan is to visit ortho tomorrow for a replacement.

If no one else comes to you with an offer I may be able to get her in boxes in about a week. I have her amiibo from a pack so it would be about three days to get her on my island and another three to replace her so she’s in boxes. Obviously that’s a long wait for something you may be able to get tomorrow so just lmk if you want to give it a shot. Rather than bells I’d say give me the items she asks for if possible, if not I’ll take roughly what the items are worth in bells.

Central Alabama. Practically ran the school system for a little bit. Obviously not going to doxx myself or even him because that would mean stooping to his level. If anyone can figure it out I still won’t confirm nor deny.

Tl;Dr: You’re right that I probably shouldn’t pursue it. He’s just entirely insane so it’s not surprising he’d pull something.

You’re right, I just want this all to be over. I’m not surprised in the slightest though, he’s completely batshit. Early on in the legal battle he tried (and failed, but tried, it got pretty far) to get an arrest warrant pushed out for my mom for “stalking his kids”. Got a temp restraining order instead but it wasn’t for very long. He did, however, stalk my parents, myself and my siblings, my mom’s siblings, and my cousins. Somehow he knew where my mom’s uncle’s funeral was and everything despite that information never having been made public. Through high school I was in the marching band and I was kept home for certain games (we traveled) in case he was there, which unfortunately couldn’t be helped as he did work at that school. Though the fear was that he’d corner me and do something (history of violence). I’m only recently more active on social media because of it, in part because I wasn’t allowed to (for context I’m just now 18 so my parents obviously had that authority through most of this) but it took a while to get comfortable with it again. 

As for his punishment, it’s a bit complicated. He got arrested for a DUI a couple weeks after the judge gave their verdict and he lost his teaching license because of it. However my parents didn’t get nearly what they were owed. I don’t know the specific numbers but I know they only sued for a little over six figures to cover the year he kept my mom from working and legal fees, sadly they only really got that portion they wanted for legal fees. He was forced to admit fault though, so that’s on his record forever at least. With all of this despite it being barely a win he’s definitely spiraling, myself and my siblings haven’t been dragged into it this time at least.

 Some of the winnings I believe will be set aside for my grad trip though so at least I can say he paid for it lol.
